Keeping in theme with the Art of Spring week, this week’s second mood board features Sarah Steffan. Sarah is an intern involved with the Ruspoli collection and the conservation treatment of Pietro da Cortona’s “Triumph of David,”a large-scale oil on canvas that currently resides in “Old Falvey,” Falvey Memorial Library’s original wing. I am inspired by educators.

If I could be any person for a day, I’d be Peggy Guggenheim.

If springtime were an art piece, it would be “Path on the Island of Saint Martin, Vetheuil” by Claude Monet. It’s at the PMA, go see it if you need some spring colors in your life.

The most useful tool I used today is my red sharpie.

Today I’m feeling the color yellow.

I’m listening to It’s My Fault For Being Famous – The White Stripes.

One summer adventure I’m daydreaming about is being reunited with the ocean.

Happiness is a cup of coffee and a snow walk.

Everyone should know to “Try to learn to breathe deeply, really taste food when you eat, and when you sleep, really sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.”

I am amazed by The Jamie Wyeth exhibit at The Brandywine River Museum.
