Falveydelphinovian: the last, first day

The Falveydelphinovian is a new blog (you’re now reading our second post!) about the students who find themselves situated in Falvey throughout the week. We will be asking about projects & classes & books & sometimes (like now, for instance) the bittersweetness that may come when it’s time to begin the final year at a wonderful university.

This is Jaclyn Olson, communication graduate student and graduate assistant with the Communication Department:

“How does it feel being back in class?”
“I finished my undergrad here in 2016, and now I’m starting the second year of my Master’s, so this was my sixth —and last— first day of school at Villanova, and that’s kind of wild. Now I’m starting to write my thesis and put together applications to doctoral programs, which is super exciting, but I think the bittersweet feeling of finally wrapping up my time at Villanova is inevitable.”

Falveydelphinovian posted by Hunter Vay Houtzer, a graduate assistant on the Communications and Marketing Dept. at the Falvey Memorial Library. She is working toward an MA in Communication at Villanova University.
