This spring semester the Office of Graduate Studies in Villanova University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has presented a series of community discussions titled “Intersectional Reflections.” Events in the series have celebrated the diversity in Graduate Studies and invited us to explore the influence of our own identities along our academic journeys and how we can be allies to those who do not share our identities.

The third Intersectional Reflections Dinner and Discussion, which will take place on Wednesday, March 20 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. in the Grad Center Lounge in Vasey Hall, will focus on First Generation Student Identity. Join us as we enjoy a delicious meal and hear about the academic journeys of a panel of faculty, staff, and graduate students who come from backgrounds where they were the first in their family to navigate the realm of higher education. Graduate students, staff, and faculty of all backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend this event.

Seating is limited, and registration is required for planning purposes. Registration for this event is open now but will close on Monday, March 18 at 9 a.m., or when capacity is reached.
