#TBT: 1927 Thanksgiving Hop
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful, safe time with family, friends, or whoever you are spending this holiday with! Although, this year may look different, that doesn’t mean we can’t all stuff our faces with delicious food and take some time to be grateful for what we do have.
In the meantime, let’s start off the day by throwing it back to 1927 and the Thanksgiving Hop. It was a night for dancing and romance on the Villanova campus and students celebrated together before heading their separate ways for Thanksgiving Day. The Hop was held in the Alumni Hall, where students danced to “The Nonpareil Villanova Orchestra.” To read more about the 1927 Thanksgiving Hop, check out Falvey’s digital version of the 1927 Belle Air here.
What are you thankful for this year? Let us know in the comments.
