Content Roundup – Fourth Week – January 2019

Scrapbook, compiled by Charles William Smith

Clear skies and warmer weather mean it is time to look at the latest digitized content. Noteworthy this week are ten more issues of the Irish story paper the “Irish Fireside”, other newly available (due to the extension of the public domain to 1923) issues of story papers, and a scrapbook documenting the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia as a historic site by one of the early curator’s Charles William Smith; included in this scrapbook are bits of wood from Independence Hall as well as postcards and documents!
