Happy Holidays, Wildcats! This week, the Curious ‘Cat asked Falvey Memorial Library staff,
“What is your favorite holiday tradition?”
Caroline Sipio, Access and Collections Coordinator:
“My family and I watch The Twilight Zone marathon on New Year’s Day!”
Rob LeBlanc, First Year Experience Librarian:
“My wife and I exchange small gifts on the eight days leading up to Christmas. It extends the holiday!”
Jackie Smith, Finance/Administration Specialist:
“My family and I go to Christmas Eve mass and then we order Imperial Pizza.”
Mike Sgier, Access and Collections Coordinator:
“I have to watch Mickey’s Christmas Carol and A Charlie Brown Christmas…I still have the VHS tapes.”
Darren Poley, Theology, Classics and Humanities Librarian:
“My family and I enjoy celebrating Saint Lucy’s Day on December 13 with
cookie baking, music, and a candle crown processional.”
Taras Ortynsky, Descriptive Services Librarian:
“I assist my wife in baking 1,500 cookies. I enjoy sharing them with everyone!”
Laura Bang, Distinctive Collections Librarian/Archivist:
“Going home to California to visit my family.”

“My family and I drive around south Philly on Christmas Eve to look at the lights.”
