The Curious ‘Cat: Finals Prep

With finals beginning next week, the Curious ‘Cat asked the Falvey Memorial Library staff for some success strategies. “What advice would you give to Villanova students preparing to take their final exams?”

David Burke, Metadata & Resource Management Librarian: “Be sure to get a good night’s sleep.”

Laura Hutelmyer, Electronic Resource & Special Acquisitions Coordinator: “Stay inside – the nice weather can be distracting!”

Darren Poley Outreach Librarian/Program Team Leader: “Be sure to take a study break. I recommend late-night chili cheese hot dogs.”

Robin Bowles, Research Support Librarian: “Study in 45 minute increments – it becomes difficult to concentrate when studying for any longer than that.”

Rob LeBlanc, First Year Experience/Humanities Librarian: “Be sure to get enough sleep. There are numerous studies that show an increase in sleeps helps with retention.”
