“Mambo Italiano:” Falvey Staff Celebrate the Season!
The staff of Falvey Memorial Library celebrated the season long after the holidays were over. The luncheon took place on Wednesday, January 3, and acknowledged the hard work of the Falvey community the year prior. Staff were treated to tasty Italian dishes and delectable desserts from Carlino’s.
The main course featured delicious dishes including: baked ziti, meatballs, chicken marsala, roasted potatoes and string bean almandine.
Some had dessert first, filling their plates with petit pastries, cookies and pumpkin crunch coffee cake.
Except for First Year Experience/Humanities Librarian, Rob LeBlanc, who thoroughly enjoyed the chicken marsala.
Crisp salad and a fresh fruit and cheese tray rounded off the meal (and bread rolls too!)
Tables were decorated with pine trees and snow (Life Savers for after lunch.)
It was the perfect afternoon for catching up with friends and co-workers, each sharing stories of their holidays and planning for the year ahead.
