The Belle Air (1977) reflected upon fall orientation by listing the thoughts of a typical, ’76 era student:

“will i like my roommate?…confusion…meet your o.c….new friendships…what’s a parietal?…’the three musketeers’…eucharistic celebration, villanova style…hoagies and bluegrass…music in the mall…i.d.’s, keys, and meal cards…drop and add what?…i want to go home…marge, our fearless leader…we’ve only just begun.”
