Geoff Scholl Joins Library Technology Department
Geoff Scholl, a Bryn Mawr native, recently joined the Technology Development Department as a Library Technology Developer, reporting to Demian Katz, director of Library Technology. Scholl has a bachelor’s degree in English from Cabrini College (now Cabrini University) and a master’s degree in software engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Katz says, “… I am extremely pleased that we were able to find someone with Geoff’s technical experience and enthusiasm. … [H]e can begin injecting some new ideas into our Digital Library platform …”
When asked what attracted him to Villanova, Scholl answered, “I was attracted to the technology work being done at Falvey, the community and the benefits. Also, I was very impressed with Falvey’s Special Collections which I saw while here for my interview.”
Scholl’s hobbies are games and music. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends and cats.
