This story finds Motor Matt continuing his career as an “aëroplane” stunt pilot for the circus and fending off yet another revenge plot from an old foe. In the grand dime novel tradition of animal attacks, readers can expect to be thrilled by both a rampaging elephant and a mid-air encounter with a venomous snake along the way.

As usual, the main feature is supplemented by a bit of filler, in this case a story about the discovery of treasure in the Bahamas and a narrative about a domesticated wild goose.
