Our latest Project Gutenberg / Distributed Proofreaders release is yet another Motor Stories adventure: Motor Matt’s Make-and-Break; or, Advancing the Spark of Friendship. This time around, Motor Matt once again faces off against ruthless broker Amos Murgatroyd while attempting to facilitate a reconciliation between Murgatroyd’s kindly clerk and the clerk’s estranged son.

As with most issues, the book also contains some filler material: “Mose Howard’s Fish Trap,” a “humorous” story of practical jokes played on a Professor of Orthography, plus two self-explanatory non-fiction pieces: “Photographs Taken in Dangerous Places” and “Costly Fishes.”
