QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today is National Awkward Moments Day. So… yeah. That’s… um. Hmm. Awk-waaard. Okay, okay, but let’s be real. We’re all awkward from time to time, if not all the time. Being awkward is part of being alive. So let’s celebrate it! And speaking of feeling awkward, students sometimes feel awkward in libraries when they need assistance, right? Libraries, for some reason, sometimes induce that awkward “I don’t know what to do with my hands” feeling, especially in quiet areas. But if it makes you feel any better, here at Falvey Memorial Library we do our best to create an atmosphere where all of your awkward is embraced. Online renewals and hold calls help! 🙂

“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” – Brian Tracy
