The Curious ‘Cat: How will you celebrate … ?
This week, the Curious ‘Cat asks Villanova students, “St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday; how will you celebrate it?”
Rufael Gulilat— “probably studying”
Mary Frances Roth—“I’ve been trying to wear green everyday this week to prepare to celebrate. St’ Patrick’s Day is my favorite holiday! So I’ve been wearing green all day, and my roommates and I are going to have a St. Patrick’s Day party and have lots of green beads and then maybe we’ll have a green beer.”
Paola Jaramillo—“I don’t know that much about the history of St. Patrick’s Day, but I did go into Philadelphia and there was a big celebration this past weekend. And I guess I will wear green. Hopefully the Library will provide us with green candy. I think there should always be candy in the library.”
Abby Jurgens— “by wearing lots of green … maybe eating corned beef and cabbage”
Griffin McCarthy— “I’ll just celebrate it with my friends, probably hang out and … just hang out and have some fun.”
Addie Doyle—“I have a test Friday, so I’ll be studying.”

In response to Paola’s comment about candy in the library, there are Tootsie Roll pops at the front desk for March Madness. All you have to do is put the mini-basketball through the hoop (from the patron side of the front counter)! 🙂
Also, don’t forget to enter the contest to win the basketball hoop and ball!
