This week brings us several newly digitized dime novels including work on the first complete physical series acquired so far: “Motor Stories” as well as the Spanish language WWI series “Los dramas de la guerra”. We also find several new issues of the rare and important story paper the “Chicago Ledger” and, from the McGarrity newspaper collection, rare issues of the “Irish worker and people’s advocate” and “The Gaelic American”. Meanwhile, work continues apace on the digitization of the Independence Seaport Museum’s Barry-Hayes collection with several new series being competed this week. Finally for your listening pleasure, two vintage 1977 music collections – both from the Philadelphia Ceili Group – grace the collection and provide a delightful and heartwarming listening treat for the colder October season!
