Content Roundup – Last Week – September 2013
This week brings two historical years of the Official Catholic Directory to your attention: 1838 and 1839. As well, work continues apace with digitization of the Independence Seaport Museum’s Barry-Hayes Collection. Check out some of the rare issues of early story papers from Augusta, Maine, and two more issues of the Irish New York newspaper The Gaelic American. As well as a number of newly available dime novels are now online. Finally for your listening pleasure, take a gander at the Irish Songs Workshop from the Philadelphia Ceili Group!
