Villanova Commemorates MLK's Famous Address

Members of the Villanova community gathered today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s iconic and stirring “I Have a Dream” speech. The celebration included a communal reading of Dr. King’s text and the performance of a poem by Langston Hughes. Those in attendance lucky enough to witness the original March on Washington in 1963 shared their thoughts on that historical event and the importance of its anniversary.
