Assistant Professor position (AOS: Ethics), University of Wisconsin-Parkside

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-PARKSIDE, Kenosha, WI. PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT, Assistant Professor of Philosophy (full-time, tenure-track), beginning Fall 2012. Ph.D. in Philosophy prior to appointment preferred. AOS: Ethics. AOC: Applied Ethics. Will teach Introduction to Philosophy and other courses, primarily in Ethics, at upper levels. Must teach Applied Ethics courses such as criminal justice ethics, biomedical ethics, environmental ethics, business ethics, political & social ethics on a regular basis. Experience and evidence of excellence in teaching. Publication record an asset; in its absence, potential for a successful research agenda a must. Send cover letter, CV, evidence of teaching effectiveness, one representative publication (or one sample of written work), and three letters of recommendation to Mr. Paul Aceto, Search Committee, Department of Philosophy, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 900 Wood Road • P.O.
