Got midterms? We stay open late!

In response to an SGA proposal last spring, the library will offer extended hours during midterm week on October 7, 8, and 9. We will stay open until 3:00 a.m. each of those nights so that students can study late in their favorite place! Good luck on your midterms!

Go on… Read a banned book… They won’t bite!

Stephen King, renowned fiction writer and author of scary dog book Cujo, is featured in Falvey’s Banned Books display, Closing Books Shuts Out Ideas. Some of the reasons offered for banning King’s fiction classics, from Carrie to The Shining, are that the books are “corruptive and obscene” and “profane and sexually objectionable.”

Joanne Quinn and Bill Greene, with help from Laura Hutelmyer, organized the first floor display. Check it out!
