Assistant Professor Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at Concordia University College of Alberta seeks an Assistant Professor of Philosophy to begin August 1, 2014, subject to budgetary approval; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The posting is open, but a background in ethics, applied ethics, philosophy of religion or epistemology would be considered an asset.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Philosophy, demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, and the ability to maintain an active research program.
Candidates must understand and support the Mission/Vision/Values Framework of Concordia. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.
